If you are a subscriber on my youtube channels or follow my social medias, then you probably already know I have officially moved to Tokyo Japan and have been living here for exactly 1 month now. But today we are not here to discuss my personal life, today I will be sharing my in-depth review on the brand new product launch from Wishtrend, my JUNGLE BOTANICS Natural Body Glow Nutshell Scrub Review!

What is Jungle Botanics?
Jungle Botanics is Wishtrend’s new personal brand that revolves around providing natural & cruelty free body care by using ingredients found in jungles and the natural environment. Making this brand ideal for those who want to focus on natural beauty that is gentle on the skin and the environment. Not only that, Jungle Botanics also strives to be gentle enough for all skin types, especially those who suffer from sensitive skin. Making for a wonderful shower & bathing experience.

Now for the most important part, the ingredients. Of course when a product has a very strong brand & products claim to be natural and reduce ones ecological footprint, it is important that the ingredients stand true to that claim. The JUNGLE BOTANICS Natural Body Glow Nutshell Scrub stresses that is uses 100% walnut granules as its exfoliator, thus being biodegradable and natural. Helping to reduce the use of micro-beads which are hugely destroying the oceans ecosystems. So lets take a peek at the ingredients list.

Overall, the JUNGLE BOTANICS Natural Body Glow Nutshell Scrub is not 100% natural and as such, should not be ingested. Keep although this product smells good enough to eat, you should avoid doing so! It contains ingredients that list this body scrub as a moisturizing soap due to its high amount of foaming agents. However it does contain an amazing amount of natural oils making it wonderful for those with dry skin!
Packaging
First off, I love the packaging! It comes in a very large size of 250mL in a very easy to squeeze tube. The luminous chrome colouring is appealing to the eye and the color combination is very beach themed. I immediately thought of tanning products when I saw the packaging! It has a cap lid with a small whole to dispense the product when squeezed, keeping it very clean. Overall there really is nothing negative about this packaging.
Scent & Texture
This is the good part! Right off the bat, the scent was PERFECTION! The JUNGLE BOTANICS Natural Body Glow Nutshell Scrub has my favorite scent for body products, which to be honest is a bit hard for me to describe. If you have ever smelt tanning products then you may have an idea of how it smells. Minus the fake tan smell of course, it has a very rich and sweet scent similar to that of argan oil body products yet a bit different. If you have ever smelt an argan oil tanning lotion before, then you know exactly what I mean. This smell is a dream! I hope they will make a body lotion with the same smell!
The texture however is something that surprised me. Because this scrub is focused toward those with dry skin, I was expecting it to be more of a cream based scrub. However to my surprise it literally was just scrub. It is extremely granular, so if you are serious about purchasing a solid scrub that will actually scrub away your dry skin cells, then this 100% is for you! It is not your basic run of the mill body scrub, this stuff is hardcore and will get the job done asap! Plus it leaves the skin with just the right amount of moisture on it thanks to all the oils within this scrub. However keep in mind, it is not a moisturizer, so you will still need to apply your after shower moisturizer if you have dry skin.
Experience
For me, I like my scrubs to do what they say they will do, remove my dead skin and the JUNGLE BOTANICS Natural Body Glow Nutshell Scrub did everything I wanted it to do. It left my skin feeling clean and fresh, extremely soft and exfoliated without causing my any hives or rash. With the added bonus of smelling fabulous after! I couldn’t be happier with this scrub! Keep in mind, this is strictly a body product and should not be used on your face.
