KOREAN SKINCARE ROUTINE FOR ACNE PRONE SKIN

Hello Everyone!

It has been over half a year since I last posted an updated skincare routine. In this new Korean skincare routine, I will be featuring some products I have been using for over 1 year now and continue to repurchase and reuse ๐Ÿ™‚ I also will be introducing many new items as well that I have also been repurchasing from my local beauty shops here in Korea.

This is my Korean skincare routine that works for my dry acne prone skin. My skin is also on the sensitive side but is tolerable with BHA and AHA products so do keep that in mind. I take my skincare very seriously and never skip a step. Because my skin is acne prone, it can become very angry when neglected and very dry. These are the Korean skincare routine items I have found, tested many times and fell in love with. I hope by me sharing my routine, I will be able to help some people with the same intolerable skin type as me. Remember though, my skincare routine is 100% Korean influenced, meaning I following a Korea skincare routine that uses much much MUCH more then just 2-4 products. I use 17 apparently (not all at the same time). So let’s hope right into it!

KOREAN SKINCARE ROUTINE FOR ACNE PRONE SKIN

Please watch the above video to learn all the details as to why I used 17 different products in my skincare routine.

Cleansers

#6 Klairs Pore Soap Charcoal – HERE
#1 Biore Cleansing Oil – HERE
#2 Klairs Gentle black Sugar Cleansing Oil – HERE
#7 Banila Co Cleansing Brush – HERE
#5 Innisfree Sea Salt Whipping Cleanser – HERE

I use multiple different types of cleansers. Each cleanser has a certain time and situation when it is used. In the mornings, I use my Innisfree Sea Salt Whipping Cleanser to quickly wash my face. At night I use a cleansing oil by Biore to remove my makeup then I used my Klairs Gentle Black Sugar Charcoal Soap to remove excess oil and left over makeup and dirt. 2 times a week I use my Klairs Gentle Black Sugar Cleansing Oil MIXED with my Klairs Sugar Scrub to remove makeup and exfoliate my skin. Then second cleanse to remove left over makeup and oil.

Day Time Routine

#9 OST C 21.5 Serum – HERE
#12 Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Serum – HERE
#11 Missha Time Revolution Serum – HERE

After cleansing and rinsing with cold water (my replacement for toner), I quickly apply my OST Vitamin C21.5 Serum which I store in the fridge. Vitamin C fades acne scars, promotes collagen in the skin and is an amazing anti-oxidant which prevents aging. After it full absorbs, I apply 4 pumps of Klairs rich moist soothing serum for intense hydration mixed with 1 pump of Missha Time Revolution Serum (a day and night serum for anti-aging). This is enough hydration for my skin in the hot summer season.

Exfoliators

#2 & #3 Klairs cleansing Oil Mixed with Klairs Black Sugar Facial Polish – HERE
#4 Cure Natural Aqua Gel – HERE

Like I mentioned in my cleansing routine. Twice a week I exfoliate with my Klairs products. Then once every 1-2 weeks I use my Cure Natural Aqua Gel, which is a peeling gel. This thoroughly removes all the excess dead skin cells on your face. Leaving you with soft silky skin. This is great to prevent blackheads, pimples and clogged pores. It also is great for anti-aging and fading acne scars.

Night Time Routine

#10 COSRX BHA Blackhead Power Liquid – HERE
#13 23YearsOld Bedacasil Cream 7 in 1 – HERE
#15 La Roche Posay Cicaplast Baume B5 Cream – HERE
#14 Innisfree Jeju Sparkling Mineral Cream – HERE

At night, I do my cleansing routine that I mentioned above, then I add my BHA’s. BHA and AHA are amazing at exfoliating the skin, preventing acne, fighting blackheads and whiteheads, anti-aging, pore unclogging, acne scar fading and much more! I swear by them and have been using them for 2+ years now. I use COSRX Blackhead power liquid as a serum after cleansing. Once absorbed I apply my 23YearsOld Bedacasil Cream which is an 8% Glycolic acid that has even more powerful benefit for acne scars, pimples, blackheads, wrinkles you name it! I Then apply my La Roche Posay Cicaplast Baume B5 cream which has been a holy grail moisturizer for me for 2+ years now. It is amazing for healing the skin while moisturizing. Doesn’t clog pores and fights against acne bacteria. I use this whenever my skin is feeling extra sensitive or like it needs healing. When my skin is feeling extra dry, I use my Innisfree Jeju Sparkling Mineral Cream ๐Ÿ™‚

Masks

#8 I’m From Honey Mask (Before Nightime routine, rinse off type) – HERE
#16 Innisfree Aloe Vera Revitalizing Sleeping Pack (At the end of skincare routine, sleep in it) – HERE

I almost every night or at least 3 times a week. Once a week, after cleansing I use my I’m From Honey Mask. This is a rinse off type so it is best to use this right after cleansing and before the rest of your skincare routine. I usually use this on the weekends on leave it on my skin for 1 hour+. It is extremely moisturizing and healing. It leaves my skin looking AMAZING!
Every night or at least 3 nights, I use my Innisfree Aloe Vera Revitalizing Sleeping Pack. This is a mask your put on at the END of your skincare routine, then you go to bed! It acts as a sealing product, making sure all your skincare products are sealed in and extra absorbed into your skin. It mostly hydrates and calms your skin ย as your sleep. It also has a cooling effect that feels great in the summer.

Do you put makeup on straight after your last serum (day time routine)?
