Hello everyone!

Today I will be reviewing the ever so popular vitamin c serum, OST Original Pure Vitamin C20 Serum and the OST Vitamin Sleep 9 to 5 Crema from!

OST Original Pure Vitamin C20 Serum and Vitamin Sleep 9 to 5 Crema Review

A while ago (about 3 months ago) I was given the OST Original Pure Vitamin C20 Serum and the OST Vitamin Sleep 9 to 5 Crema to try out and review. Wishtrend was kind enough to let me take as long as I needed to fully try and test these 2 products to make sure I could experience them to the fullest. So I took the opportunity to use them for 3 months to see how my skin reacted over time.

So let’s start the review!

I will first talk about the OST Original Pure Vitamin C20 Serum. This serum is the number 1 selling item on selling hundreds every day! As you may guess from the name of the product, it is a highly concentrated vitamin C serum designed to deliver your skin with the most adequate amount of vitamin C so you can see results fast! Vitamin C has many great benefits to the skin, some include, increased moisture retention, skin hydration, antioxidant power (the best form of anti-aging), increased collagen production and best of all, it provides the skin with a brightening effect that can reduce and improve the appearance of pigmentation from sun damage and post acne scars and can even help improve acne break outs! All these amazing benefits of a vitamin C serum really made me want to give the OST Original Pure C20 Serum a try so I could see for myself how it could improve my skin issues since I suffer from post acne scars. Like I commonly say in my skincare posts and reviews, I have sensitive, combination and acne prone skin. Having skin like mine can make finding products challenging since it’s so easy for a product to cause me irritation. So I was a bit nervous about trying the OST line. However I trusted if because it is such a raved about product on Wishtrend!

Some of OST Original Pure Vitamin C20 Serum claims

  • – The serum is always made fresh and sold right away, making sure you receive fresh ingredients for the best skin results.
  • – It contains a 20% combination of L-ascorbic acid with natural vitamin C antioxidants to aid in the prevention of the first signs of aging.
  • – It revitalizes, removes dead skin cells, whitens, tightens pores, fade acne scars and helps remove and prevent blackheads.

These are some pretty large claims! I was very excited to put this serum to the test and see how well it could hold up to it’s claims. I was most interested in looking for an improvement in my skins pigmentation issues as well as seeing an improvement in controlling my acne breakouts.

My Skin Over a 3 Week Time Span

I applied the serum to my skin every morning and night to maximize my results. I would apply is after washing and toning my skin. After applying, I would let the serum absorb completely into my skin before applying any additional products. It is recommended on the Wishtrend website to keep the OST Original Pure Vitamin C20 Serum in the refrigerator after opening to maintain its quality and potency as well as to help provide and instant calming and cooling effect when applied to the skin. I made sure to always keep my serum in the refrigerator to help preserve it’s quality. I took photos of my skin every day for a time span of 2.5 weeks so I could track my overall skin improvement and results of the serum. Here are my results after only 2.5 weeks!

OST Original Pure Vitamin C20 Serum and OST Vitamin Sleep 9 to 5 Crema Review When comparing the photos, you can easily see in Day 1 My skin was very red and looked irritated as well as has visible risen pimples. After 1 week, the pimples on my skin had significantly reduced in size and the overall redness in my skin had reduced as well. However, there still was some visible purple undertones to my post acne scars. After 2.5 weeks you can easily see that the redness in my skin was almost gone and there were no longer and risen acne pimples. The purple tone to my post acne scars had also reduced and my skin had started to gain a more even tone! The results I gained in 2.5 weeks were quite amazing! My Overall

Thoughts and Opinions

I truthfully was quite happy with this product and would 100% purchase it! I also loved the consistency of the serum. Compared to serums I have used in the past, the OST Original Pure Vitamin C20 Serum had a lovely lightweight and breathable feeling on the skin. However, if you use too much serum, it can start to feel sticky and tacky on the skin, but when the right amount is applied ( 2-3 drops ) you experience a lovely lightweight texture that provides an instant glow. When the serum is stored in the fridge (how it is recommended to be) You experience an instant pore tightening effect when applied to the skin. It cools and refreshes the skin and tightens and closes the pores! It truly is quite the refreshing feeling. Especially on hot summer days! I even enjoyed the smell of it! It has a true Orange Citrus smell to it, a fragrance you would expect from a powerful Vitamin C product. I have heard some people saying the Fragrance was too strong for their liking, however, I personally had no issues with it. Irritation wise, I experience none! I have sensitive skin so I was pleasantly surprised to be able to enjoy this product every day with no irritation to my skin!

I loved this serum and I fully enjoyed every bit of it. This in my personal opinion is the perfect serum for any skin type to enjoy. It is lightweight enough for oily skin types, gentle enough for sensitive skin type, hydrating enough for normal and combination skin types and provides the right level of nutrients for any dry skin type to use. It truly is a universal serum for all skin types! Even the Price of the serum is excellent running at an original price of $24.99 on It is an extremely affordable serum.

OST Vitamin Sleep 9 to 5 Crema Review OST Original Pure Vitamin C20 Serum and Vitamin Sleep 9 to 5 Crema Review

In a addition  to the OST Serum, it’s partner product is the OST Vitamin Sleep 9 to 5 Crema. This is a night cream that has been specially formulated to work in combination with the OST C20 Serum to maximize the effects over night while you sleep while also provided deep moisture, repair and boosted vitamin C. I received this cream along with my serum so that I would better be able to test out the entire Vitamin C series from OST. I used the OST Vitamin Sleep 9 to 5 Crema along with the serum from day 1. I wanted to test them in combination like how they are designed to be used so I could gain the best results in a short period of time.

OST Vitamin Sleep 9 to 5 Crema Claims

  • – Works best in combination with OST Original Pure Vitamin C20 Serum to boost effects for best results.
  • – Overall skin tone brightening
  • Soft and Light texture
  • – Increases absorption of vitamin c into the skin
  • – Best quality of hydrating ingredients
  • – Overnight skin repair and moisture

The claims of this night cream more or less state that the cream is best used along side the Serum so your skin can receive the most ideal amount of vitamin c. Since the cream is designed to be used with the serum, I made sure to do just that and use it every night after my serum so I could achieve the best results. OST Original Pure Vitamin C20 Serum and Vitamin Sleep 9 to 5 Crema Review

My Overall Thoughts and Opinions I actually really enjoyed this night cream! Like I mentioned earlier, I used it as directed from the Wishtrend website, using it as a night cream after using the OST C20 Serum. With my skin type being combination to dry, sensitive and acne prone, I found this cream should ONLY be used at night sparingly. It has a wonderful lightweight texture however it provides an intense amount of moisture and can leave the skin “appearing” shiny and oily, making it unsuitable to use during day time. However, these features make sense since it is only meant to be used during the night while you sleep. I mainly enjoyed this night cream because the texture instantly smoothed over and reduced the appearance of dry patches on my skin and cured them over night. I would always wake up in the morning with lovely, supple, smooth and hydrated looking skin that look refreshed and soft. It helped to control my dry areas on my face such as my nose, jawline and cheeks. The fragrance of the night cream matched the serum with a lovely Orange citrus scent that reminded you that your treating your skin with a lovely amount of vitamin C. Because of its deep moisture properties, if you have an oily skin type, I would not recommend the night cream to you. It would be too rich and most likely cause you to break out. You would be just fine with the serum alone.

I really loved this night cream. In combination with the serum, they both worked quickly on my skin to control my break outs, cure my dry patches of skin, fade existing post acne scars and prevent to appearance of new ones. All while controlling pore size and providing deep hydration and moisture. Not to mention once again the price of this night cream is extremely affordable in comparison to other night creams. The OST Vitamin Sleep 9 to 5 Crema night cream costs $25.99 on which is a great price for such a good quality product!

I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own blog and was wondering what all is needed to get set up? I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny? I’m not very web savvy so I’m not 100% sure. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

      Hi Gloria!
Starting a blog is great especially if you already have other social media networks.
If you have never run any type of website before, then I recommend you start with the basics like a blogspot blog since it is the simplest platform to use. however if you are interested in the “intense” blogging and plan to stick with it for many years to come then I recommend starting with wordpress since it is great once you have a well build up amount of blog posts and content.
Otherwise having a blog similar to mine with its own domain does indeed cost a pretty penny, but it is worth it in years to come.
But start simple to begin with, you wont want to invest money and then find out blogging isn’t for you.
      Good luck! xoxo

Hai~ May I ask you something. I looked at wishtrend tv that C2o can make your face white. Is it work for you? I have dull skin, and yeah, I always forget to use sunscreen, so well, what can I say, very dark skintone than my body u___u

    • biibiibeauty October 1, 2014 4:28 am

It does not make your face “white”, it has brightening effects that overall even out the skin tone. Basically is enhances your natural skin tone to look more even and healthy. This product is not a whitening product. This applies to all vitamin c skin care products 🙂 It will over time help with improving issues such as acne, acne scars, sun spots, sun damage, blotchy skin tone and overall make the skin look brighter and healthier 🙂

      • Merry October 1, 2014 5:24 am

Thank you for reply my question >___< Well, since you say that it will help improving issues like sun damage, I'm gonna buy it for sure! Thank you so much for reviewing this product, I wasn't sure back then to buy it, but now 100% gonna buy it hehehe

  • Scar November 13, 2014 11:34 am

Hi~ Your post is very helpful to me 🙂
May I ask you the frequency of your OST C20 serum? Do you use it once or twice a day? And do I need to be aware of any problem on my skin after using it?
    Thank you ^_^

    • biibiibeauty November 14, 2014 8:36 am

      Of course!
I only use it once a day, at night.
Because it is a high concentrate of pure vitamin c, you should to a patch test on the inside of your forearm, and behind your ear to make sure you don’t have any irritation after use.
Otherwise you are okay to use it whenever you want! 🙂

  • amanda January 30, 2015 8:35 pm

  • tasnim March 4, 2015 9:39 am

hi, i have ordered this product as it was on special offer; in the offer i got two c2o serums. do i have to refrigerate the serum that is unopened? as i will use the second once i have finished the first bottle.

    • biibiibeauty March 4, 2015 9:40 am

Yes, I would personally refrigerate it 🙂

  • Merry March 16, 2015 9:44 am

    Hai! I’m back!

So thanks to you that I bought this serum and received it November. I tried it for 3 months and I love it! This is my Holy Grail right now, I don’t have any pimples for 3 months, and my scar disappear.

Use my second bottle right now. LOVE IT!

    • biibiibeauty March 16, 2015 9:49 am

Wow that’s wonderful! I’m happy to hear it also works for you 😀

  • Bella April 4, 2015 5:09 am

Hi, do u apply the serum in the morning and night, or only at night?
And if u apply it in the morning, what product do u use after applying the serum?
    Thanks 🙂

    • biibiibeauty April 18, 2015 6:50 am

morning and night then i continue with my routine of other serums and creams n such 🙂

  • Tanzina June 2, 2015 7:34 am

Im using differin gel 0.1 for treating my acne. can I use this serum along with the medicine? if yes then when should I use it? before or after applying the medicine? I apply the medicine at night and keep it overnight. thanks in advance

    • biibiibeauty June 2, 2015 7:59 am

Hey! Differin is a harsh product, so I’d suggest to use them at separate times and see how your skin reacts.
Example, differin at night and Vitamin C during the day.

Want to know how to use? After using toner and use this c20 serum…And after using c20 serum over any cream is ok?

    • biibiibeauty October 27, 2015 3:52 am

Do not use serums after cream. Any serum should be used after toner or essence.

  • Chepten October 16, 2015 6:14 am

Hi thank you for the review. I havenot purchase this product yet but I want to. The thing is I am confused with the night cream because currently I am using snail moisturising cream at night. Can I use it together with that or I have to choose between one of them?

    • biibiibeauty October 27, 2015 3:51 am

I would pick one cream, Stick with your snail one for now since it you already have a cream 😛

  • Esther Yeong November 6, 2015 2:00 pm

Hi there, may I ask, after applying the C20 serum, do you wait for some time before applying the night cream, or you apply to OST night cream immediately? I’m afraid the pH is not the same for both products and it might affect the efficacy of he serum.

    • biibiibeauty November 8, 2015 5:29 pm

Personally I never waited and never had an issue. Waiting is totally up to you.

  • Mia November 13, 2015 6:07 pm

Hi.. i’ve been using this product for 3 months now and i love it. But, after read your review i’ve notice that the color of my serum is yellow/orange not colourless like yours. I think it’s already been oxidize since i dont put it in the refrigerator. Is it ok if i continue using this till last drop or should i stop? I’m afraid that it would affect my skin..

    • biibiibeauty November 13, 2015 6:34 pm

If it is a very dark orange, color then it has oxidized and the effects wont be as strong. However if it is light yellow or light orange you can still use it.
Make sure you store it in the fridge always 🙂

  • Zehra September 13, 2016 12:58 am

Hi, I know you refrigerate the serum but I was wondering if you refrigerate the cream as well? Just stumbled across your blog and love it btw.

  • Sangpuii April 18, 2017 3:26 pm

Does it work on crows feet? I have the biggest problem with crowd feet?

    • Bronwyn Papineau (BiiBiiBeauty) May 2, 2017 3:53 am

No, vitamin c is an antioxidant and not a firming on wrinkles that already exist 🙁 If you are looking for something to tighten existing wrinkles, then a firming eye cream or firming serum would be better.

  • Sangpuii April 18, 2017 3:27 pm

Crows feet, sorry for the typing mistake?

  • Ann May 4, 2017 4:18 am

Hi, do you use toner before the serum?
