Hello loves! Some of you may or may not know this but I am a full week behind on my blogging and video because of the weather we have been having lately!
Where I live near Toronto in Canada was hit by the worst ice storm ever! It took down so many trees and put us out of electricity for days!
Here are some photos of the area where I live.
This is my front yard… those are trees that stand very high. They were split right down the middle from the weight of all the ice!
The road is just a mess of chunks of ice and tree branches were cleared off the road and all pilled up on the side walks.
This is the top of a tree flopped right over from all the ice!
But even though the ice storm destroyed so many trees, houses, and cars. It still looks so beautiful! Like a painting!
But honestly there is still a 2 inch layer of ice over everything! But thank god I have power back!
At the end of the road is a massive tree in front of Kyles house that is right over, I was going to park my car there that night… Thankfully I chose to be safe and stay home that night! Glad I chose so or my car would have been flattened!
It sure did make for one interesting Christmas even though it threw me so far behind on my blog!
I will be playing catch up all week!
