I had been inspired for a while to do a dolly makeup tutorial, but I have always been picky about what type off doll looks I preferred. I am not personally a huge fan of actual dolls. In fact, I am someone who is creeped out by them. However, I have always loved Japanese doll’s makeup looks. I felt there was just so much artistic effect put into the doll’s makeup. I have always seen many tutorials on youtube for dolly makeup looks but I either felt like the makeup was too light orย too heavy to truly transform the face into that of a dolls.ย In the two above photo’s, I transformed myself to look as close as possible to the Japanese doll on the left. I found that this dolly had the most natural looking dolly makeup.

I did my best to recreate the dolls makeup in the most simplest way possible with the most neutral of product colours.

Of course with any dolly makeup look, it is important to be wearing circle lenses. *Unless of course you natural have very large irises… lucky you!*
In this tutorial I am wearing my Geo Nudy Quarter Brown lenses from Eyecandys.com
