Unfortunately for some of us, we often may experience skin conditions such as hives, rashes, redness, tightness, and heat, all of which lead out skin to advanced ageing. When we do experience these condition, we don’t always know how we can treat them. I’M FROM Mugwort Essence Sheet Mask Review
As someone with sensitive dehydrated acne prone skin, I personally know all the struggles of having all the skin conditions mentioned above. As such, I find myself often testing and review products that best accommodate my skin concerns.
“Awesome… but what’s so great about mugwort?”
If you are unfamiliar with mugwort, it is ingredient that is naturally extracted from the mugwort leaves, once extracted, it is utilized in either medicinal supplements to calm and soothe our bodies, or for our external skin.
Of course, as someone with sensitive skin, anything that claims to calm the skin is exceptionally ideal.
Thankfully the I’M FROM brand has launched a sheet mask version of their popular mugwort line!
Ingredients & Texture
Granted, what it really comes down to in regards to a product that claims to calm, soothe, and hydrate the skin for up to 24hrs is the ingredients. Below is the cosDNA analysis of the ingredients list (cosDNA, a cosmetics ingredients analysis website).
Aside from the very simple formula and minimalistic ingredients, the above chart clearly shows just how safe and natural this sheet mask is.
In regards to the texture of this sheet mask, one of the claims to this product is the soft and gentle sheet itself. Based on my personal experience with the product, I for one can agree that the sheet is quite soft.
“Narly like a second skin effect, but not quite here.”
When referring to the actually texture of the essence within the sheet mask, it generally feels the same as any other hydrating sheet masks. Liquidity yet slightly viscous.
Applications & Results
When applied onto the skin, the mugwort mask immediately has a extreme cooling effect. When my skin was irritated from the dry winter wind in Canada, this honestly felt amazing.
After leaving the mask on my skin for 20 minutes, my skin felt plump, full of hydration and calmed. Redness was visibly gone, oil was reduced and skin hydration was almost at 100%!
Overall Opinion
I honestly loved the entire mugwort line prior to the this sheet mask. However, upon using this sheet mask, this has easily become one of my favorite must have items from the entire brand!
