New Hair Color!

So it was time to dye my roots again as per usual. Last month I went one shade darker from medium ash blonde to dark ash blonde. It wasn’t a drastic difference, more just changed the tone to an ashy blonde which I love!

I usually use Loreal dye in my hair because I find my hair takes best to that but this time I honestly didn’t want to spend 14 dollars just on my roots. I went to Sally’s Beauty to pick up a color because I already own a bunch of developers so All I needed was the same color but in a higher end brand that would cost me less because I already have developer! ๐Ÿ˜€

I got Argan Oil brand! ๐Ÿ˜€ Knowing it would be super awesome and healthy for my hair since it has argan oil incorporate in it ๐Ÿ™‚ I also picked up bleaching powder because I ran out ๐Ÿ˜› I got the same color as I did before, Dark ash blonde.

I also pictured up Manic Panic’s toner hair dye to add to my dark ash blonde. The Loreal I used before worked but I felt it wasn’t ashy enough for my liking. So I added some to my hair dye ๐Ÿ™‚
For my dying my hair is a 2 step process which takes a total of 4 hours. I do it myself because salons charge way too much for me to get them to do it for me when I have the skills to do it myself for half the price. ๐Ÿ™‚

So I bleach my roots. Then wash my hair, then dry my hair, then dye my roots with the toning hair color to get rid of the ugly bleached hair look which we all hate. ๐Ÿ˜›

After step 1 of bleaching and washing.

In step 2 process with the dye mixed with the toner in my hair ๐Ÿ™‚

The out come!

Ring light lighting!

Indoor lighting, no flash. Blurry I’m sorry! haha

Natural day lighting!
I dyed my roots for half the time then half way through I coloured the rest of my hair and the ends last. I did it like this because my roots are drying and absorb color quickly and can be damaged easily. I also get a very faint ombre effect going on lol!
I love it! So far! But in real life I feel like it looks for like a light ash brown rather then a blonde! Which saddens me because me being blonde is a lot of work. But I feel the color will wash out nicely and be perfect ๐Ÿ™‚ unlike the Loreal that more or less completely washed out, and fast. Leaving me with no ash ๐Ÿ™
So here’s hoping! ๐Ÿ˜€
